What is home buyer education?
Home buyer education is where one of our partners (who is a licensed mortgage loan originator) will provide a free class to medical school students as well as to GMEs. They will outline not only the home financing options available to your students, Residents, and Fellows but will also educate them on how to prepare for the application process and home ownership. There are many different moving parts and it is important that they start with a good foundation.

                                               5 things to expect in home buyer's education

#1: No marketing - although our licensed mortgage loan originator partners are encouraged to bring business cards, provide their contact information, or even wear name tags or shirts with their company's name on it, we agree that this course is not a marketing platform but rather an opportunity to give back to an industry that has given so much to our community. Our sole purpose is preparing the attendees for the road ahead of them

#2: mortgage loan options available - our partners will encapsulate all financing options available and go over the benefits of specialized financing available to them with Doctor Loan Mortgages

#3: preparation for loan application - we've all heard success stories as well as some "not-so-successful" stories from our peers regarding mortgage application. Our partners will be providing the attendees a solid educational foundation to give them the best chance to become a success story by preparing them for loan application. At this stage in their careers, their student loans are often a pivotal factor in their application. So understanding how each loan program will factor in their student loans is critical. Even on Doctor Loans (where student loans are sometimes omitted from qualifying), it is important for them to know how they factor in for each stage of their careers. 

#4: online platform as well as in-person - regardless of where you are located, our partners will travel to meet you in-person. You are also welcome to schedule our partner for an online video session
